Lifemark was suggested to me to assist me in returning to work. I immediately registered for an intake appointment. The supports are so good. From therapy, to job councilors, to resume assistance, interview prep, and workshops. All of it was so wonderful and supportive. A personal shout out to Celeste Whipp who was my career counsellor. She was so supportive, knowledgeable and caring. I was able to find employment in just a few months. If you are struggling to find work, I strongly recommend Lifemark to support and help you get on your feet!

Lifemark's services benefitted my company by saving us time and increasing the number of qualified applicants for positions. The risk reduction with HR-related activities provided by helping with updating policies and creating fair interviewing processes was extremely valuable to us. As a non-profit organization, there are gaps in knowledge and limited funds for things like HR consulting so the program that Lifemark was able to offer us was extremely appreciated. I got a job! I'm able to pay for my basic needs and worry less. I'm also a student, but realize that getting through school will take me a lot longer than it would if I were able to commit to being a full time student, finding employment became a dire necessity and I definitely wouldn't have been able to navigate the job market without this program. Without Empower that may not have happened for me. Now I can proudly call myself a collegue, a student, and a mom who's got stuff together and that feels great!
