Centre4Work (C4W)

Lifemark's C4W program is an innovative program designed to address barriers to employment for people with disabilities in the Calgary region. Aspire helps facilitate the development of a skilled workforce through customized employment supports, work simulations, and personalized support. Aspire helps people with disabilities prepare for, find, and succeed in employment.

Are you eligible?

You may be eligible for enrollment if you:

  • Identify as a person with a disability (physical, psychological, mental/behavioural, sensory, developmental, or other)
  • Are currently unemployed or marginally employed
  • Are a resident of the Calgary region
  • Are eighteen (18) year of age or older
  • Are legally eligible to work in Canada

Program and skills training details

Programming is customizable, with participants being able to access to 12 to 16 weeks of services, available in-person and virtually. Services include:

  • Job preparation workshops and individualized employment support
  • Work discovery and career exploration services
  • Work simulation modules to practice and build skills in real-world settings
  • English language support, wraparound supports, and study groups
  • Skills for Success training (literacy, numeracy, digital, workplace skills)
  • Employer connection opportunities
  • Coaching and mentorship from employment specialists
  • Access to a Food Pantry and Clothing Closet for added support
  • 90 days of ongoing follow-up support

Eligible individuals can enroll in this program at no cost.
