Workers' Compensation Boards

Employment Services are designed to address the re-employment needs of the Worker to facilitate Suitable, Accessible, and Sustainable Employment, which optimizes wage quality. Lifemark has provided vocational rehabilitation services through Workers’ Compensation Boards for over two decades. Our experience includes providing thorough assessment services, comprehensive job planning, employment preparation, supported job search services and job placement with follow-up to some of the most vulnerable Canadians. Insurance & Legal

We work with life and auto insurers, employers, and legal representatives to support clients returning to work safely, confidently, and as quickly as possible.

Our team provides clear, evidence-based assessments and practical return-to-work plans that help move claims forward, reduce barriers, and deliver fair well-supported outcomes for everyone involved. Our services include:

Veterans Affairs Canada

Lifemark partners with WCG as part of the Partners in Canadian Veterans Rehabilitation Services (PCVRS) to deliver Veterans Affairs Canada’s Rehabilitation Services and Vocational Assistance Program (RSVP).

Through this program, ill and injured Veterans and their families receive personalized medical, psychosocial, and vocational supports for successful reintegration into civilian life.

We provide vocational rehabilitation services that focus on what comes next. By understanding each Veteran’s health, education, skills, and work experience, we support creating realistic and meaningful career goals.

Our vocational assessments include:

  • Psycho-Educational Assessment

Government programs

Lifemark’s Government Programs provide employment and career supports for individuals and employers at every stage of the workforce journey. These programs offer personalized guidance, skills development, and practical resources to help individuals overcome barriers, explore career options, prepare for work, and sustain meaningful employment.

Elevate

Elevate supports individuals in developing the skills, confidence, and readiness needed to pursue further education or sustainable employment. It provides customized pre-employment supports and job placement assistance to help participants achieve their career goals. Eligible individuals receive a tailored plan, workshops, certifications, and connections to opportunities to overcome barriers and become employment-ready. Path to Possible

Path to Possible is open to residents living in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo to help individuals move forward with confidence toward employment or further training. Through a combination of guided skill development, practical experiences, and individualized coaching, participants gain the tools they need to succeed in real workplace settings. Aspire

Aspire is designed to help people with disabilities in the Edmonton region move toward meaningful employment by reducing barriers and building practical workplace skills. The program offers individualized support in a respectful, trauma-informed environment, meeting participants wherever they are in their employment journey. Through tailored guidance, experiential learning, and career coaching, participants gain confidence, real-world experience, and the tools needed to prepare for, secure, and sustain employment. Empower

Empower is a personalized employment program that supports individuals facing barriers as they prepare for work, training, or career exploration. The program focuses on building confidence, developing practical job-readiness skills, and identifying realistic employment goals based on each participant’s strengths and circumstances. Through one-on-one support, skill development activities, and guided planning, Empower helps participants move forward with clarity, stability, and a sense of control over their next steps.

CARES

CARES supports individuals living in Calgary who are motivated to work but facing personal or logistical barriers to employment. The program provides free, individualized support to help participants build confidence, develop relevant skills, and identify job options that align with their needs and circumstances. With one-on-one guidance, practical resources, and customized training, CARES helps participants move forward with clarity, stability, and support.

C4W (Centre4Work) - Calgary

Lifemark's C4W program is designed to address barriers to employment for people with disabilities in the Calgary region. It helps facilitate the development of a skilled workforce through customized employment supports, work simulations, and personalized support. Talent In-Sight Employer Services

Talent In-Sight supports employers in overcoming hiring challenges by helping address skill shortages, improve recruitment outcomes, and increase employee retention. The program offers coaching, mentoring, and access to customizable tools and resources tailored to an organization’s unique needs. Employers can access practical services such as job design support, recruitment and onboarding assistance, and labour market insights. To learn more about this program, click here.

Training

Lifemark’s Training Programs offer flexible, skills-based learning to help individuals build confidence, develop practical abilities, and prepare for employment or career growth. Through hands-on instruction and guided workshops, participants gain relevant, real-world skills that can be applied immediately.

Computer Training

Lifemark offers computer training at the basic, intermediate, and advanced levels to support learners at every stage of their digital skills journey. Courses combine practical instruction, hands-on exercises, and employment-focused applications to build confidence and real-world computer proficiency. Training is flexible and can be delivered in person or virtually, in group settings or one-on-one. A customized Ease of Access course is also available for individuals with physical limitations that affect computer use, ensuring inclusive learning at any skill level.


WORKS

WORKS is a flexible employment workshop program designed to help Albertans build skills, address employment barriers, and move toward new career opportunities. The program allows participants to choose the workshops that align with their goals, experience, and readiness for work. Workshops are available in person or online and are designed to be practical, supportive, and immediately applicable, allowing participants to learn at a pace that works for them. Resource Centre

Lifemark’s Resource Centres provide access to tools, information, and personalized support to help individuals explore career options, build job-readiness skills, and connect with employment opportunities. Available across multiple regions, these centres offer practical resources and guidance to support individuals at different stages of their career journey.

Centre4Work Resource Centre

Centre4Work Career and Employment Resource Centre provides job seekers and career explorers with practical services, tools, and personalized support to help you make informed career decisions, strengthen job-readiness skills, and access meaningful employment opportunities across Alberta.
